How It Works

Once your story is submitted, our team takes intentional steps to ensure it is handled with care, respect, and purpose. Below is what you can expect.

Step 1: Story Review

Every story is carefully reviewed by our team. We honor the vulnerability it takes to share and treat each submission with confidentiality and respect.

After the completion of your story submission, you will receive a message from our team notifying you that we have received it. If you don’t receive it within 72 hours, please check your spam inbox. 

We periodically update our submitters as the submission moves through the process. It normally takes our team two to four weeks (based on the number of submissions), to review your submission. 

Please note that Media Release Agreements will be required for all submissions that are selected. If a Media Release Agreement is not fully executed, the submission will not move further.

Step 2: Selected for Library

Each submission is then reviewed based on our internal guidelines.Whether you testimony is accepted or not, we will notify the submitter. 

If a story meets our initial guidelines, the submitter will be notified and the submission will be placed in our Story Library while we determine the best resource to share it. It is important to understand that we value all submissions.


While selection does not guarantee immediate or future publication, it allows us to thoughtfully plan and curate stories for upcoming opportunities.

Step 3: Scheduled Submission

Once your submission has been selected for one of our media resources, you will receive notification that your submission is in the scheduling phase.

 

Please note, you will have 48-hours to email us if you wish to pull your submission to Grace 2 B Great. If we don’t receive an email, we will proceed with scheduling your submission.

Step 4: Live Story

Once the story has been selected and the media resources identified, the submitter will receive an email indicating that your story has been published and where. 

Please note that we might use your story in multiple media resources at different times. You might not always be notified after the first time we use the submission. 

Care & Aftercare Support

Sharing a story can bring up many emotions. Therefore, we encourage you to seek professional counseling, therapy, medical treatment, legal advice, or crisis intervention services prior and/or after you make the personal decision to share your story. Grace 2 B Great is a storytelling/media initiative only.

We believe storytelling should never come at the cost of personal well-being.

Grace 2 B Great Features

Some submissions may be selected to be featured based on theme, timing, and impact. 

Featured stories may appear as:

  • Written articles

  • Audio stories

  • Video features

  •  Social Media Platforms

  •  Podcast and other forms of media distribution channels

Ongoing Impact

Your story has the potential to encourage others, open conversations, and create connections. Even if your story is not publicly featured, it still matters and is honored as part of this community.
